One Airlifted To Maryland Hospital After Multi-Vehicle Crash On I-95

Multiple people were transported to Maryland hospitals after a multi-vehicle crash on I-95 in Hartford County, officials say.

First responders from the Susquehanna Hose Company responded to a stretch of I-95 in Havre de Grace at approximately 8 a.m. on Thursday, July 21, where there was a reported crash involving two vehicles that temporarily shut down the roadway.

Two patients were treated for life-threatening injuries, according to the fire department, with one requiring an airlift to an area hospital for emergency treatment after being ejected from a vehicle.

Others involved in the crash were treated by paramedics and transported to area hospitals, officials said.

It is unclear what caused the crash.

The crash led to the northbound lanes of I-95 being shut down as police investigated the crash and cleared the scene.
